Swimming at Givens

The kids did swimming at Givens again this year. No one passed, bu they improved their skills.

Mom's Tranny Goes Out

Two Words: Extended Warranty! I am not typically and extended wty person but this thing has paid for it self 3X over. The last little hiccup, when my tranny when out, and they found the water pump needed fixed too. $4100 of repairs and we paid $100 deductable.

Fathers Day in Silver City

We went to mass in Silver City for Fathers day, we were going to have a nice little picnic afterwards...till the downpour hit, so we had lunch in the car...but it was a nice time. Happy Fathers Day JJ!

Volkers 2010 Family Reunion

In June we attended JJ's Family Reunion in Meridian. It was a fun day at the park with all of JJ's dad's side of the Family. Rumor has it next year it will be in Colorado.

Lady Mustangs Softball

Cheylah finished her first year of Fast Pitch Softball in 12U this year. She is only 10 so has a long way to grow on the team. She was able to get some good hits. Way to go Chey!

New Water Heater

Well we replaced our Gas Water Heater and converted to Electric. Quite the home improvement project! We got lucky on the wiring, the electrician had rough wired for an electric heater when we built the house, so after chaning a few breakers in the fuse box, wiring the new water heater wasn't that bad of a job. JJ was plumber/electrician and contractor on the job. We even managed to not get in a fight the entire project. Put the gas water heater on Craigs list, it's still in wondeful shape, but with the price of gas these days, made the change.

Braden Graduates from Pre School

Braden graduated from Pre-School! We are so Proud of him! His school program was so cute, he recited a memorized part he's been working on for about a month and was all smiles as he got his diploma. It's off to Sissy's School as he calls it next fall.
He graduated with his girls Hannah and Keylee.
